I first worked with Ted Brooks in the Robert Blake murder trial. Ted’s mastery of technology made me able to both present the defense and to cross-examine adverse witnesses in a much more effective way. It made the defense more understandable and the trial much more interesting. By use of Ted’s skills, the jury could see that I wanted to make the case more understandable for them, and it clearly demonstrated that I was not running away from the evidence. For those very reasons I wanted Ted involved in the defense of Dr. Hootan Roozrokh. Dr. Roozrokh’s case involved thousands of pages of medical and other records, as well as complicated medical, ethical and legal issues. Ted’s use of TrialDirector made interesting what would otherwise have been boring. The contrast between our presentation of evidence and that of the prosecution was striking, and once again showed the jury that I wanted them to understand the evidence. Other advantages of our use of technology were the ability to quietly scan and print in court during trial, searching for documents during trial using OCR text database, and creating compelling graphics as needed.

The presentation support services from Litigation-Tech (Gary Puls) were "state of the art" and had the court staff standing in amazement with their mouths wide open. (This is no exaggeration, believe me.)" I know that it sounds like we're blowing smoke in your ear, but I firmly believe that "but for" the video element of the presentation of evidence, the jury would not and could not have reached the decision they did. The tool is - henceforth - a "must" have for any client that has the budget for it.

As for Puls, I can not imagine a better fit of personality, temperament and skills. This was a "team effort" and Gary became an integral part of the "team" from the very first moment. His "extra mile" work in working with us preparing the closing argument PowerPoint presentation was a gift from the heavens.

We have NO hesitation in recommending Litigation-Tech, and will preach like the converted.
